This study looked at how people choose the weight they lift during resistance training. They wanted to see if the weight commonly used for 10 reps on the bench press will actually match the effort people put in when lifting. They had 160 healthy men (who have a history of working out) answer a question about the weight they usually lift for 10 reps. Then, they had them lift that same weight for as many reps as possible (train to failure). They found that, on average, people could lift that weight for about 16 reps and a quarter of participants went as far as 19 reps! This is a HUGE problem because it means the majority of participants in this study aren't actually training anywhere close to failure in their regular workouts. Now I'm not saying you need to train to 100% failure for every set and every exercise, but you do need to push yourself until there is sufficient strain on the muscle being trained. Otherwise it's like you're preparing for the 100 meter dash but in your training you never run faster than a seniors mall-walking club.
IT AIN'T GONNA WORK :(

bro's posing expressions are hilarious
80% of people think they are above average in intelligence, driving skills, etc. It's not surprising that about 70% of men think they are fit
Chest muscle comparison between a roid user and a natty. At that point i stopped watching this video
My man 💪
When creating my character my genetics are 50% pec fat and 50% lower love handle fat.....minimal to none for abs or anywhere else.
I see you bro. Good information
Had to subscribe after this one.

There are 2 solutions to metabolic adaptations: 1) do a break in your low calorie diet every couple of weeks. It's what I'm doing at the moment: loose 1kg in 8-10d followed by a 4d break/fitness maintenance. 2) implement 5:2 intermittent fasting: 5d a week of normal diet, 2d a week with one meal a day of 500-800kcal depending on your needs (with a 2-3d break between each fasting day) 5:2 IF works wonderful: lost 10kg in 5-6 months and never triggered a drop of metabolism. You steadily loose 400-500kcal a week which is, conveniently, the recommended fat loss rate.
I'm well informed in nutrition and aware of this so called "metabolic damage" but to be fair, it would be more accurate to speak of metabolic adaptation. The fact the metabolism gets back to what it was is clear. The real damage that can happen is actually not during dieting but during bulking/holiday: a quick fat gain OR a high fat gain can trigger the multiplication of fat cells (adipocytes). Fat cells never die: they shrink when you diet but they never disappear. And they are not dumb, passive cells: they are actually the most active organ in communication with more than 100 hormones (=message that can be sent to other parts of the body), against 3 for your thyroid for example. In particular, when fat cells are low in fat/energy, they produce appetite hormones. The more fat cells, the less fat to share, the more hunger, the more you eat. That's how people end up being obese after dieting too many times in their lifes. They don't get obese from dieting, they get obese from increasing the number of their (immortal) fat cells by getting too much fat too fast AFTER they finished dieting. I looked for information about where the limit is, the only thing i found is a doctor who talked about no more than 5-7kg than your healthy/average weight and no more than 500g a week in fat gain. If you gain fat too fast OR too high, you're at risk of increasing your fat cells. That is where the real irreversible damage is, not in the metabolic adaptations which are temporary (afak).
I thought a 10-12% body fat all year long was healthy and possible just by eating properly. Let's figure out: I'm somewhere at 14-15%, just a couple of months away from 10%. I'll try to maintain that with occasional intermittent fasting (OMAD).
This is a very good guide to have an idea of where we are. Unfortunately, I'm really at a stage difficult to assess. When I wake up and am slightly dehydrated from night fasting, if I contract my abs, I can see a clear separation between my obliques and abs, and a bit of my four upper abs, I then look like 14% body fat. As the days goes, eat and drink, everything disappears and I look like 15-16%. So I'm somewhere between 14 and 16, probably 15 but difficult to tell. Also, at my age, skin is looser and it's more difficult to assess your stage. Anyway, this man makes me think about the typical dumb funny party guy 😉
Youre just not getting that lean.
what about people claiming eating 3500kcal but are lean like 10% ? telling you they walk every day 20k step
18:00, I bet they got hair transplants
At least Arnold had a 4 pack the Rock didn't even have 4 packs! Also having 6 packs is much better than 4 because it's much flexible. But having 8 is a gift of God very few have because of their genetics your right. But Arnold became instant celebrity having just 4 packs i think it's because he's the icon of body building and Lou Ferrigno the HULK!
Why you look Gay but you are a FemBot
I'd love to see a video about Japanese natural bodybuilders. They look better than this guy.
🤣🤣🤣
Her you are fat phobic The boys yes I’m proud of being fat phobic and you should be fat phobic too
i'm a 21 doing nothing , wtf bro
What de boock he is doing with his mouth while he is exercising? Does he need surgery to stop dis?
whats you height ?
6:20 uh, no. No, no, no. That's a terrible idea. People lie in surveys like crazy, but women on dating surveys are basically Joker batshit insane. It's utterly worthless "data", and if anything those studies just show how divorced women's opinions are from actual dating reality. Observational studies only, please!
Does anyone know if bodyfat example pictures on the internet are typically flexed or not? Like particularly im the 10-20% ranges? Starting to think the vast majority of ab pics are flexed.
The body fat you don't see is around the internal organs. There may be varying amounts depending on the body. This may contribute to the confusion when comparing dexa scan results and visual results.
Great video, great eye opener
Interesting stuff brother. Your video appeared in my recommended.
I got to 11% (i did a full on standing test on a machine) during my time i was chopping wood for work then getting cracked out on pre workout and going gym 2 days a day for about 6 months, i will never get back there again. Why? Because pre workout almost gave me a siezure. Stay away from all this shit. Yes, it had dmaa
Im overhead pressing 140 but i dont have the delts i want. Im cooked
I was really surprised to se melatonin because lots of doctors are saying that it meses your sleep cycle and that you’ll end up like dependent on it and that magnesium is better for sleep. what are your thoughts on this🤔
I look i go gym once a week but i have 700+
Ask women which % body fat they prefer using your pictures. Thanks
Bro, your thumbnail is fucking inaccurate. 14%-17% body fat? Dude ur using normal lighting in this photo to show how lean it looks. 10-13% and <10% You're using good lighting to show how ripped you are bruh. Stop making ppl feel fat.
The difference between the left and right set of abs is that the left will kick the right's ass and then make it his bitch.
4 min in and still ain't get 2 the point
Found your channel yesterday. Amazing work, and thanks for sharing with us.
how could you breath at 8500 feet without oxygen device????
Bro may have been on the juice, look at the energy maybe he did coke instead of roids
The two instant give aways of a fake natty is bulbous 3d pecs. And veins in your arms like steel cables. You will never seen those things on a natural. Even Arnold the king of pecs. When he came off the gear in 1982 to make the fitness video with Rachel Mclish. His pecs lost most of their size and 3d look. Aswell as his arms. And they you will get these idiots on youtibe who do what I call the captain America transformation. With the bulbous 3d pecs. And try to tell us they are natty. Like Brandon Carter and Jeff Seid
He is another fake natty. Natural is your look. Impressive but no OVERSIZED PECS. That's the giveaway. PROOF. Check Arnold the man with arguably the best pecs ever. When he came off the gear in 1982 in that training video with Rachel Mclish. Still good physique. But nothing like his physique in 74. So whenever I see fake natties like Brandon Carter Jeff Seid etc. I just laugh. They have better pecs than non steroid Arnie..
Honestly, "try for a month and quit" is exactly what I do on purpose and it works great for me. Why fatigue yourself with months of dieting, when I can go hard at it for a month, and then maintain for a while, and then go at it again? I never get too fatigued with it, my neet levels don't go down to rock bottom, and the results are absolutely there.
Arnolds name is pretty much a free n pass at this point
It's simple, I see Igor, I click
Mattdoesfitness and Jeff Nippard = fake natties. Aint no way you get a physique like that with 11nmol/l
Yep, just lost 10 kilo of fat, thinking thats all I need, turns out I need to drop at least 5 more to start seeing visible abs 😂
Great info bro !! Thanks 🎉
mine is 744. I beat most of em.
Can you make a video on how to get rid of the extra fat cells? I was 330 lbs and now 170 pounds and I think I may have a lot.
